Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Game Pilled ("Game Pilled," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the gamepilled.com website and the Game Pilled publishing app (the "App").

What the App is

The App is an internal publishing tool. Its only purpose is to publish Game Pilled's own videos to Game Pilled's own TikTok account (@GamePilledShow). It is not offered to the public, and members of the public do not sign in to it.

Information the App accesses through TikTok

When the Game Pilled account is connected through TikTok Login Kit, TikTok lets the App access, with the account owner's permission:

• Basic profile information of the connected account, such as display name, avatar, and an account identifier (open ID). We use this only to confirm which account is connected.
• Video upload and publishing permissions (Content Posting API), used to upload videos and publish them to the connected Game Pilled account.

We use this access only to publish Game Pilled's own content. We do not read, collect, or analyze other TikTok users' data, followers, messages, or viewing activity.

Information from website visitors

The gamepilled.com website can be read without an account. Like most websites, our host may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operations.

If you join the email list, we receive the email address you submit and which page or clip sent you. The list is optional. You confirm it by tapping a link we email you. Buttondown stores the list and sends the mail. Every message has an unsubscribe link. We use the list to tell you when Kubrick's Cube is out, and for anything further only if you later opt in.

If you email us, we receive that address and whatever you choose to write.

How we store and keep data

• TikTok access tokens and the connected account's basic profile information are stored securely on systems Game Pilled controls, with access limited to the people who operate the App.
• We keep this information only as long as the App is connected to the Game Pilled TikTok account. If access is revoked or the App is retired, we delete stored tokens and profile information within 30 days.
• Videos we publish are Game Pilled's own content. Copies remain in our own production storage.

We do not sell data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use TikTok data for advertising or share it with data brokers.

Third parties

We rely on a small number of service providers:

• TikTok, to authenticate the account and publish videos. TikTok's handling of data is governed by TikTok's own Privacy Policy.
• Vercel, which hosts gamepilled.com.
• Buttondown, which stores and sends the email list.
• Cloud storage, which holds our own video files.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Revoking access

The TikTok account owner can revoke the App's access at any time in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services (menu names may vary by app version). Once revoked, the App can no longer access the account.

Data deletion requests

To ask us to delete information we hold about you, email info@gamepilled.com with the subject "Data deletion request." We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep something.

Children

Our website and App are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
